A Sunset

I was out walking the dog when I saw this beautiful sunset.  I cut Bo and I's walk short and hurried home to get my camera.  I begged Greg to go to the field with me to be my silhouette.  The sunset was pretty but I just love silhouettes.  Here are our best.

Afterwards I thought dang we should of made a heart with our arms.  Maybe next time......

Brandi Going Away

My sister was leaving for her move to Florida on Wednesday so Greg and I made her and Ryan dinner on Tuesday before they left.  A few of Brandi's friends came over and we hung out and took a few pictures.

I didn't have a good picture of just Jayden and I together so him and I went into the backyard and I tried to get a photo of us but I looked like crap from crying about my sister leaving and he just wanted to play.  Here are our best photos.

Then we went out to the front yard and got some pictures of the rest of us.
Brandi and Ryan left Wednesday morning for their long drive across the US.  We said our good byes before I went to work and it was super sad.  I cried, a lot.  Brandi and I have never been apart and now we both have kids so it was really hard to know she was moving across the country.  But on the bright side she has an awesome husband, is living in the sunny state of Florida and I get to take mini vacations to go and visit her.

Pictures before the twins go to Utah for 2 weeks

Since my mom was up here for my sisters marriage we thought it would be a good time for her to take the twins back with her for a little while so Greg and I could do a few things together.  Before they left I wanted to get some cute pictures of them to look at while they were gone.  They were going to be gone for 2 weeks and that is the longest we have been with out them.  My mom was leaving the day after my sisters marriage so I took pictures of them after we got home from her dinner.  They weren't really into getting their picture taken so I did my new stand by - put them in Greg's old truck.  They love playing in it and there is only so far they can go.  Here are a few of my favorites.

I love how the pictures turned out and I am so glad I got them.  The twins left the next day with my mom for 2 weeks.

Brandi Got Married

Ryan got back on Thursday and he and Brandi were married on Monday July 18th at the court house.  Apparently court house weddings are becoming a tradition ;) - Me, my sister in law Jenelle & now Brandi.

My sister looked beautiful and Ryan looked very handsome in his blues.  The ceremony is very quick so in between dinner and the ceremony we went and took a few pictures at the park.  It was over 100 degrees.  We were all so HOT, I can't even imagine how hot Ryan was in his uniform, sizzling hot.  Oh and I had forgot my memory card for my camera at home and didn't have a chance to go get one before the ceremony started so I don't have any photos of that but I did take some with Ryan's phone.  After the ceremony I made a mad dash to store to get a memory card and ended up taking my brother on a few fun rides, as he was following me around in his car.

We finally made it to the park and got a few photos.  Here are some favorites.

After pictures we went to eat at a Japanese steak house.  They make the food on the grill in front of you so it's a lot of fun.  All of our family was able to make it to the dinner which was really nice.  You'll see from the pictures that Jaelee did not like the noise of them cooking on the grill.  She sat on my moms lap with her hands over here ears.

Congratulations Brandi, Ryan & Jayden.  I love all of you!

Photo shoot of a log & timber home

On July 16th I got the opportunity to photograph one of my works log and timber homes.  The best part is that this is one of my favorite homes.  I love the floor plan and the way the home owners finished out the home is awesome.  It has a European style because that's where they are from.  I love photography and my works homes are beautiful so putting those two together is amazing.  Hopefully with the help of my photography this home will be featured in a magazine.  We are also doing a spot light of it on our website with my pictures.

I drove over to Eastern Idaho early in the morning and arrived at the house 4 hours later.  The home owners were great, they gave me a tour of the house and then just let me get to work.

Photographing the home was a little challenging.  There were a lot of small spaces and it was pretty dark even after I had all the lights on.  It was really good to get to work in conditions like that though it was a great learning experience.  I took about 4 hours photographing the home inside and out.  I spent some time talking with the home owners and then drove back home.  It was a long day with all the driving but it was so much fun!  I love getting to do this.  Here are a few of my favorite shots.

He's Back

Brandi's fiance (now husband) Ryan got back on July 14th. It was so great he was back and I was really excited for Brandi & Jayden to see and be with him. It was a little bitter sweet because a few days after he got back they left for Florida :( but on the positive side now I get to go visit my sister in Florida!

Anyway one of the first things Ryan did when he got back was give Jayden his first hair cut. He had a cute mop of hair on his head that had gotten a little long. It was defiantly time for a hair cut.

Ryan did a great job and Jayden is one good looking boy!  My sister told me he has all ready had another hair cut since this.
