Snow Fairies

I have been bad at blogging lately but we haven't been up to anything too exciting around here.  And on top of that my card reader broke and I couldn't upload photos of the things we have managed to do.  I got it figured out now so I'll try and catch up.

It snowed here a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to take some pictures of Jaelee with wings and her lady bug boots on in the snow.  We took a few and I could see Jayse peaking out at us so we came in and he wanted to go outside in some wings too.  So I put wings and his boots on and we went back outside. Greg doesn't love Jayse being in pink wings but hey...he makes an adorable boy fairy.  I got some really cute photos.  So here are a few.

That will probably be all the catching up I do for now. I need to go pack, I'm on my way to HAWAII tomorrow! I am going for 5 days. It's just me, Greg and the kids are staying home. One of my best friends decided to do a destination wedding so I get to go to Hawaii and I get to see her get married. I'm sure I'll have LOTS of pictures to share when I get back.

Update

I can't believe I didn't post a thing in January. We haven't really been up to anything exciting. I think for the entire month of January someone was sick.  The twins had strep throat the beginning of January.  Then they got the stomach flu.  We had one week where everyone was feeling good than I got a really bad cold and lost my voice.  Jayse got the stomach flu again and then Jaelee and I got it 2 days later and then Greg and my brother.  Now just 2 days ago Jayse got a cold, he currently has a fever and runny nose.

Anywho here is a recap of what we have managed to do in between being sick.

Greg had his birthday in January, we celebrated with cake.  My mom got married on Jan. 8th.  We drove to Utah for it and stayed at my uncles which was a lot of fun watching movies & playing Kinect.  I took a few photos at my moms wedding but didn't get my camera out other than that.

I decided I wanted to take some pictures of the twins since the last ones I had were at Christmas.  I took some pictures of them and it was warm enough outside we stayed out there and drew on the driveway with chalk.

 

 

 

For super bowl Sunday Greg and some friends played football and the twins and I played at the park.  In the picture below Greg is the one being tackled.  He was swore for days.

Christmas

This is my 100th post!  Just wanted to mention that.  I wanted to get our Christmas recap in before the new year, so here I am on New Year Eve doing the post. 

We started off by celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve at my Aunt's annual get together.  It is always fun to spend time with family and the twins had a lot of fun playing and opening presents.

 

 

 

 

We were excited this year because the twins are getting older and at an age where they get excited about opening presents and toys.  Christmas morning the kids were excited to open presents until the first one was opened and then they just wanted to play with what they got and didn't even care about the others.  But Greg and I helped them open all the presents and they got some great stuff.  Jaelee had had a fever for a few days and was still not feeling very well so she was pretty whiny but still managed to play with a lot of her new toys.  I didn't take as many photos this year as usual because I was holding Jaelee a lot of the time.

I didn't get a picture of them with them but one of Jaelee's favorite gifts was a Dora Explorer car and Jayse loved all his new Car's cars.

After opening presents we had lunch with my family at our house.  And spent the rest of the day lounging around. 

The day after Christmas we went snow tubing with my brother and sister.  We got a late start and only had a little while to sled before it got dark but we had a lot of fun.  The twins fit in a tube together and went down a few times and loved it.  Jaelee was still a little whiny and I had to hold her a lot but I did manage to make it down the big hill once.  Greg got some lovely photos of me that I don't think I'll post.  Right before it was getting dark both Greg and my brother went down the big hill and popped their tubes.  Good thing we were pretty much done.  Even though we didn't get to sled for very long we still had a good time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When we got back the twins and I made cookies and we all wore our new aprons we got from my mom. 

 

 

And I had to have Jaelee try on her new jacket from Jenelle because it is so cute. Jayse had to get his picture taken too.
